In fall 1977, Cece Klepper was driving to a friend's house with her young daughter, Dee, when Dee became extremely agitated. She told Cece that this intersection was a dangerous place. Cece later told her relative about the incident. The relative told her that her grandmother, Ocelia Davidson, was nearly killed in a car accident at that same place, seventeen years earlier. However, it could not be possible for Dee to know about it because Ocelia died in 1966, seven years before she was born. Cece became convinced that Dee was the reincarnation of Ocelia.

Cece also noticed that Dee began acting like Ocelia as well. One day when they were at the grocery store, Dee began talking with an older woman. She told Cece that the woman was an old friend of hers. Cece learned that she had been a close friend and neighbor of Ocelia's for over thirty years. Two months later, when Cece and Dee were at a restaurant, Dee called an older waitress by her first name, Helen; it was impossible for her to know that. However, Ocelia was a regular at the restaurant and knew Helen well.

Dee is now an adult and has no memories of Ocelia. However, Cece is certain that Dee is the reincarnation of Ocelia.
